ISO 14001 Environmental Management System

ISO 14001 Environmental Management System – Centiant have strong commitment from the board level down to reduce the environmental impacts of its business operations. ISO 14001 helps the organisation greatly in achieving this by systematically manage and reduce their environmental impact while improving operational performance. The standard helps Centiant cut waste, use resources more efficiently, and comply with environmental laws, reducing the risk of fines and reputational damage. It also enhances credibility with customers, investors, and regulators by demonstrating a clear commitment to sustainability.

Centiant have also committed to being fully Carbon Net Zero by 2050. With changes implemented since 2019, Centiant have seen significant reductions and are considerably ahead of government targets with the overall organisational carbon footprint reduced by over 80% in the reporting figures up to 2025. ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System – Centiant have developed a robust framework for effective incident response and recovery procedures to ensure the organisation can recover quickly in the event of a disruption covering all Centiant key products and services. Protecting Centiant and customer assets where applicable.

Centiant carry out regular exercises to ensure the effectiveness and resilience of the organisation is continually reviewed and improved upon where required. Centiant also look to involve external parties such as customers, contractors and the supply chain when assessing the effectiveness of the BCMS.

ISO 27001 Information Security Management System – Centiant have implemented thorough processes and policies for managing information security. This helps prevent data breaches, supports compliance with laws and regulations, and strengthens defence against cyber threats. This therefore gives Centiant increased reliability and security of systems and information, improved customer and business partner confidence, increased business resilience (working alongside our ISO 22301), alignment with customer security requirements, improved management processes and integration with corporate risk strategies.

ISO 45001 Health and Safety Management System (SSIP) – Centiant have implemented a mature, robust and thorough Health and Safety management system. This ultimately reduces the risk of workplace injuries and illnesses through a proactive approach to hazard identification and risk assessment, leading to improved organisational health and safety. This applies to both employees of Centiant and other relevant interested parties such as visitors, contractors etc.

Centiant are also UKAS accredited members of the Safety Schemes In Procurement. This demonstrates to customers that Centiant is competent in health and safety practices and procedures, and therefore a business that is safe to work with. This applies predominantly to the Construction industry and covers all works under the Construction Design Management Regulations 2015 where Centiant will hold duties under the regulations.

Cyber Essentials Plus badge

Centiant work closely with security authorities to protect ourselves and our customers. Security standards including Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) and the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) are implemented. IT systems are implemented in accordance with NCSC guidance, incidents and logs are shared with the authorities. Centiant’s admin staff are trained by the police to check identity documents prior to additional vetting where needed. Our security infrastructure is regularly audited and tested.
