Framework
Frameworks come in various shapes and sizes including specialist regional and sector specific frameworks. The most universal frameworks are those established and managed by Crown Commercial Services.
Within the IT space the primary framework agreements are:
Network service 2 RM3808
RM3808 is designed to allow public sector customer to purchase networks and telephony services. It consists of 13 lots, of which Centiant are on the following:
- Lot 2:- Local Connectivity services
- Lot 5:- IP Telephony services
- Lot 6:- Mobile voice and data services
- Lot 10:- Unified communications.
The framework has three call off procedures (routes)
Direct Award
This allows customers to purchase services including complex services directly from a supplier up to £20million per order. Suppliers load services onto the Government eMarketplace
Technology services 3 RM6100
Provides access to technology strategy and service design as well as services to provide support with moving to the operational running of an IT estate. It also provides support for large projects, up to top secret classification and a range of other technology services such as:
- provision and management of IT service desk
- end user device support
- network support
- asset disposal and application maintenance
- IT infrastructure support (for example, server and storage hardware)
